A New Thing!
Happy New Year! I thank God for how He led and kept us all through 2017 with all the victories and setbacks the year brought. Here we are, looking forward to a new year packed with amazing and exciting things. God is set to bring us to a wealthy place and do exploits through us.
The year 2017 might have been filled with ups and downs in different area of our lives but am reminded and excited with what the Lord assures us in Isaiah 43.

"Remember ye not the former things, neither consider things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing: now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert".
This year 2018, the Lord is ready to do a NEW thing in every area of our lives, so get ready. It's a new year, our year of double honor and we shall see His glory at work in our lives.
Two things I ask us to do this new year:
Let the presence of God never depart from our lives and home.
The Ark of God symbolizes His presence. Obededom had a choice to leave the ark after witnessing what happened to Uzziah instead, he decided to take the ark home. He decided to carry the presence of God with him regardless of what anyone would say or call Him. His relationship with God mattered to him than anything around him and the Lord began to bless him and his household. This year, let us decide to carry the presence of God in our lives, to our workplace and everywhere we go. Let us stir up the desire to know God more than we did last year, build an intimate relationship with Him and let's engage in kingdom advancement efforts more than we ever did. Make it a priority to tell people about the saving grace of Jesus, win souls and pray for the church. Let people see us and see God through us in our actions and conversation.
Decide to speak FAITH-FILLED WORDS always.
Life and death lies in the power of the tongue. We cannot speak defeat and expect to see victory. Align your thoughts with the word of God and speak what the word says. Declare words of faith in spite of all the devil may throw at you; remember the devil is a defeated foe so don't give him a foothold to stand on through fear and doubt instead declare what God says about you and any situation you find yourself . Frame your world with the WORD of God. The WORD of God still works and this year, it will work on our behalf in Jesus name.
This year, what eyes have not seen, nor ears heard, neither have entered into the heart of man shall the Lord do for us. I see a NEW YOU emerging!

We thank God for His faithfulness and a new thing! May we always be ushered into His presence; where there is fullness of joy and as we declare the unchanging word of God, may it dwell in us richly in Jesus name.
